Your account, your call
Account deletion
This page is about jocuriclasice, the card and dice games this site publishes. The developer who operates the service is the one named as the controller in our privacy policy. You can delete your account and the personal data attached to it yourself, from inside the app, whether you play in a browser, on Android or on iPhone.
How to delete it, from the app
Sign in to the account you want gone, then:
- Open your profile and choose "Your data".
- Under "Delete my account", read what it says, then type DELETE into the confirmation field, in capital letters, exactly as shown.
- If the account has two-step verification turned on, add a code from your authenticator app, or one of the backup codes you saved.
- Press "Delete my account".
Never signed up? You still have an account and it deletes the same way. Open the settings gear in the top bar of any main screen, scroll to About, and choose "Account deletion". That reaches the same page without an account.
If you are already signed in on this device, Your data opens that screen directly.
The deletion runs at once and on its own. There is no waiting period, nobody reviews it and nothing has to be approved. It cannot be undone, and it ends the session with the account.
What is erased
One transaction removes all of it:
- Who you are: your email address, your display name, your password and every other sign-in method linked to the account, two-step verification included.
- Every session, on every device.
- Your profile picture.
- Your friends and friend requests, the players you blocked and the players you muted.
- Your direct messages, the thread with us included, and the lines you wrote in a club.
- Every invitation you sent or received, to a room, to a group or to a club, and your membership in the groups and clubs you belonged to.
- Your progression: levels, achievements, favourites, per game statistics and ratings.
- Your seed balance and the ledger that explains it, your daily hand results and your arena entries.
- Where you play from, and the record of where you played from in past months.
What stays, and why
A few things outlive the account on purpose. None of them names you:
- The empty shell of the account, so a finished match still has a seat to point at. The display name on it becomes [DELETED], which is what keeps match history and the rankings correct without naming anybody.
- Finished matches and their results, with your seat under that placeholder.
- The fact that a report existed, how it was decided and why, kept as our record that the platform acted. Your name comes off it.
- The record of any moderation or account action our team took.
- Support tickets, with your name taken off them, for the year our privacy policy gives them.
If you cannot open the app
You do not have to install anything to ask us. Both of these reach the same people:
- Fill in the support form on the app site, and say which account you mean.
- Or write to chira.mircea.darius@gmail.com, the address our privacy policy publishes.
We answer a request like this within one month of receiving it.
